This operating method supports controlled acceleration, deceleration, and stable speed regulation across a wide range of machine duties.
This unit is built on inverter size code 14 and uses a heat-sink cooling arrangement that directs thermal energy into a finned aluminum base. The housing follows form factor code E for compact cabinet mounting, and the integrated braking transistor allows dynamic retardation when a discharge path of at least 25 Ω is provided. Under continuous operation, the drive can energize motors up to 10 HP. Rated switching takes place at 8 kHz, and carrier modulation can be increased to 16 kHz when lower acoustic noise or reduced torque ripple is needed.
