14.F5.M1E-3ADD is an IP20 rated industrial frequency inverter. KEB Automation, a global leader in industrial automation, has designed the inverter for motor control applications. Operators can connect it to AC or DC supplies. The nominal input voltage rating is 400 Volts, and the unit can operate with input voltages ranging from 300 to 500 Volts. With support for AC and DC input, the inverter gives operators flexibility and allows its use for a wide range for applications. The main function of the inverter is to produce stable AC output with variable amplitude/frequency. When connected to AC input, a built-in rectifier converts AC to intermediate DC, and an inverter converts the intermediate DC to AC output with required parameters. When connected to DC input, the rectifier stage is bypassed and only the inverter is engaged to produce the desired output.
