The 14.F5.GBD-YA00 is an AC axis drive module produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It provides variable-frequency power conversion so a control system can regulate motor speed and torque in automated machinery lines, material-handling stations, and packaging cells. By accepting a three-phase supply and modulating its output through pulse-width techniques, the unit forms the power stage between the PLC and a synchronous or induction motor, allowing closed-loop motion tasks without separate drive cabinets.
Control and feedback parameters are processed quickly; the analog speed reference is digitized at an input resolution of 12 Bit and the converter samples that channel every 1 ms. Inside housing type D, inverter size code 14 pairs with a braking transistor that is integrated rather than external, while no encoder feedback card is fitted, leaving position control to external devices if required. The three-phase line draws a rated input of 23 A and delivers a rated motor current of 16.5 A with a continuous apparent power of 11 kVA. A reference output source supplies 4 mA for loop circuits, and the relay output can switch 30 VDC at 1 A for fault or ready signals.
