The device fits into control cabinets where compact power stages are required to coordinate conveyor sections, extruder screws, or servo pumps with precise electrical control. Its role is to supply controlled motor power while responding to command signals from the surrounding automation system.
The unit belongs to the 400 V voltage class, so its DC link and output stages are dimensioned for mains lines up to 400 V. It supports a maximum motor rating of 10 HP, allowing it to operate moderate-size motors on 230 V or 400 V supplies. During acceleration, it permits a short-time current surge of 180% of nominal current, and protection trips occur if phase current reaches 216% to limit semiconductor heating. The IGBT bridge switches at 8 kHz, which can reduce motor acoustic noise while increasing heat in the power stage. Internal control loops execute every 2 ms, helping the drive maintain fast velocity response and stable torque control during load changes.
