It can control compatible induction or synchronous motors for applications that require responsive acceleration and stable operation under changing loads. An integrated braking transistor allows the drive to dissipate regenerated energy through an external resistor during rapid deceleration. This arrangement helps the connected motor follow commanded motion without excessive voltage developing in the intermediate circuit.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply centered on 400 V and operates within an input range of 305–528 V, allowing for typical plant voltage fluctuations.
