The 14.F5.C1D-YA10 is an axis inverter produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It is designed for PLC-based motion systems and provides onboard logic and analog interfaces for connection to machine controls. The drive accepts a three-phase input of 400 V AC or power from a compatible DC link. Under continuous duty, it supplies 7.5 kW to the motor while delivering 16.5 A of output current. Pulse-width modulation operates at 8 kHz, balancing audible motor noise with switching losses in the power stage. Inverter size code 14 supports machines with motors rated up to 10 HP. A factory-installed GTR7 braking transistor dissipates regenerated energy during deceleration, while standard air cooling removes heat from the power electronics. The control section provides two analog inputs, two analog outputs, eight digital inputs, two relay outputs, and two transistor outputs for machine logic and signaling. During acceleration, the current can rise to 180% of the rated value for short periods, providing additional torque for high-inertia loads.
