The 14.F5.G1D-YP00 is an AC axis drive module manufactured by KEB and supplied within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Acting as a pulse-width-modulated inverter, the unit regulates the voltage and frequency fed to asynchronous or synchronous motors so that speed and torque can be matched to process demand. By converting fixed mains power into a programmable output, the drive integrates with PLC-based automation lines that require coordinated motion, tension control, or energy-efficient pump and fan operation across a broad horsepower range.

The drive accepts a three-phase supply at 400 V and draws a rated input of 23 A when delivering its nominal output. Internally, the IGBT bridge provides up to 16.5 A of continuous motor current, which corresponds to an apparent power capability of 11 kVA. This capacity supports motors up to 10 HP, including Unit B operation on 230 V systems. The unit uses inverter size code 14 and a type D housing, so it fits the standardized F5 mounting pattern. Dynamic stopping energy is handled by the factory-installed standard braking transistor, which channels up to 15 A of regenerative current into an external resistor no lower than 56 Ω. A short-time overcurrent reserve of 29.7 A supports rapid acceleration before thermal limits are reached, while the heat sink may run safely to 90 °C under full load. A user-specified 25 A gG mains fuse protects the upstream wiring. Minimum full-load operation begins at 6 Hz, allowing slow-speed torque control for conveyors or mixers that must start under load.
