The 13.F5.H1D-L90A is an AC axis drive produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. The module houses both power electronics and control logic to convert fixed-frequency mains power into variable-frequency output for precise regulation of induction or synchronous motors on conveyors, pumps, and packaging stations. Serving as the central actuator interface, it links field sensors, feedback encoders, and higher-level controllers, forming a compact foundation for coordinated machine motion in industrial automation. It mounts directly in a control cabinet alongside a PLC and safety relays.
Rated for a continuous motor capacity of 7.5 HP at 230 V, the drive’s power stage corresponds to inverter size code 13. Control electronics run from an internal supply of 24 V DC, which also furnishes up to 100 mA on the auxiliary 24 V output line for external transducers. Two analog input channels are sampled at 12-bit resolution, and two analog outputs reproduce operating values for remote indicators. Eight digital command lines are latched every 1 ms, with two transistor outputs able to switch a combined 50 mA DC.
