Its enclosure is rated IP20, meaning live parts must be mounted inside a cabinet for operator safety. During continuous duty, the inverter supplies 12 A while the IGBT bridge switches at 4 kHz, a compromise between motor acoustic noise and semiconductor losses. Acceleration and load spikes are handled by a peak output of 25.9 A, and the protective circuit trips at 216 % of rated current to shut down severe short-circuit events.
