The 13.F5.G1D-YP10 is an AC drive in the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series produced by KEB for variable-speed control of three-phase induction motors in industrial automation. By modulating the inverter bridge, it converts a wide mains input into a regulated output that lets PLCs command precise torque, acceleration, and braking profiles on connected axes. This approach supports stable motor response during load changes and speed adjustments.
The power section accepts a line supply of 305...528 V and rectifies it to a DC link maintained between 420...746 V. Under nominal conditions, the converter draws 17 A from the mains and delivers up to 12 A to the motor terminals. Output frequency can be varied from 0...400 Hz, giving the drive a broad control range for both slow and fast machine motion. A braking transistor manages regenerated energy during rapid deceleration.
The housing carries an IP20 protection rating, so the unit is intended for installation inside an electrical cabinet. Motor ratings up to 7.5 HP are supported when the recommended cable size is used, which helps maintain current capacity. The heat sink may reach 90 °C before thermal derating occurs, so enclosure airflow must be planned carefully.
