Product Description:

12.F5.C1D-ALC1 is a F5 series frequency inverter. It is a product of KEB Automation, a German supplier of industrial automation solutions. The inverter is designed for control of AC motors used for industrial applications. It works with step less AC motors. This particular inverter belongs to the 400 Volts AC class. It requires six phase AC input. A rectifier converts AC input to DC, which is subsequently converter back to AC by an inverter. This double conversion is done to ensure that the output frequency and amplitude match application requirements. Nominal power output of the 12.F5.C1D-ALC1 inverter is 6.6 kVA. It can be connected to AC motors with maximum 4 kilowatts power rating. Nominal value of the current at the output of the inverter is 9.5 Amps.

Nominal value of the current at the input of the inverter is 20 Amps. The default switching frequency is 8 kilohertz and the peak switching frequency is 16 kilohertz. Stall current of the inverter at 8 kilohertz is 9.5 Amps. Stall current of the inverter at 16 kilohertz is 5.8 Amps. A heat sink is installed for improving the heat dissipation during inverter operation. Temperature of the surface of this heat sink must not exceed the 90 degrees Celsius threshold. For motors connected to the inverter, the line must have at least 2.5 mm2 cross-sectional area. Minimum and typical values for resistance of the braking resistor are 82 Ohms and 150 Ohms respectively. The complete input voltage range is 300 to 500 Volts, with 400 Volts being the nominal value. The inverter has a housing with IP20 ingress protection rating. It complies with vibration/jolt as per EN 50155.
