The 12.F5.A1D-3A0A inverter is produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series and serves as a power and control interface between the mains supply and a controllable AC motor in automated machinery. Equipped with a standard control board, it supports velocity and torque regulation for motors up to the stated power class while housing an integrated braking transistor to dissipate regenerative energy during rapid stops. The unit fits inside control cabinets and suits applications that need a compact axis drive rather than a discrete starter.
An analog input processed at 11-bit resolution lets the controller interpret speed or torque references with 2048 discrete steps. The drive includes 5 PNP-compatible digital inputs for binary commands or status checks. Internal tasks are refreshed every 1 ms, so field signals are transferred to the PWM stage without noticeable lag.
