The 12.56.210 is a chassis-mounted inverter produced by KEB and assigned to the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase line power into a variable, pulse-width-modulated output that regulates speed and torque on AC motors used in assembly cells, material-handling conveyors, and other automated processes. By integrating into a multi-axis motion system, the unit enables precise drive coordination without mechanical speed changers, which reduces system complexity in industrial automation.
It accepts three-phase line power at 3 Ph 380/460 V AC and 50/60 Hz, matching common factory distribution grids. The internal power stage is sized for a continuous output of 9.5 A, which supports motors up to 5 HP on constant-torque duty cycles. A maximum mains fuse of 20 A is specified to clear faults without nuisance trips, and the integrated braking transistor allows rapid deceleration by routing excess DC-bus energy to an external resistor.
