Product Description:
The 10.F5.CBB-YA00 is an AC inverter drive produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. As a compact drive controller, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable output for closed-loop speed and torque regulation on small-to-medium industrial motors. In automated machinery, the unit provides coordinated axis movement and integrates with upstream PLC logic through its built-in control interface. This arrangement allows the drive to serve motion tasks that require repeatable response without adding a separate stand-alone control module.
The drive is identified by inverter size code 10 and uses the COMPACT control type. It has 2 dedicated analog channels for process references and 8 digital inputs for mode selection or fault acknowledgment. A scan time of 2 ms cycles all I/O, and the 24 V DC internal supply provides logic power for the control section. The output stage operates at a rated switching frequency of 8 kHz. Supplementary wiring is available through 29 control terminals, and two relay outputs can pass status signals to external contactors. The accessory pack adds a braking transistor with an integrated safety relay, while the design omits an encoder feedback card.
The assembly weighs 1.8 kg and carries an IP20 enclosure rating, so it is intended for protected cabinet installation. When mounted on a panel, the rear heat sink may rise to 90 °C without derating, which supports dense layouts where space behind the drive is limited. With adequate cooling, the inverter can deliver up to 3 HP of motor power or 4.0 kVA of rated apparent power at the output terminals. Frequency synthesis extends to 599 Hz, which suits applications such as high-speed spindles or blowers. The flat rear housing helps the unit mount closely to the panel, and the available output range supports both steady running conditions and rapid speed changes in compact machinery.
