The 10.F5.B3B-1A0A is an AC axis drive produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Designed for cabinet mounting, the unit converts constant mains power into a variable three-phase output so that induction or synchronous motors can be accelerated, decelerated, or held at a fixed process speed without mechanical throttling. By combining power electronics, braking circuitry, and electromagnetic interference suppression in one housing, it serves as a compact motion component for conveyors, mixers, and general industrial machinery.

The drive connects to a three-phase 400 V AC/DC supply. With a rated input current of 8 A, it delivers 5.8 A to the motor and provides an apparent output of 4 kVA for applications up to 3 HP. A 345 µF DC-link capacitor smooths the bus, and the insulated-gate transistors switch at 8 kHz to limit current ripple and audible noise. Internal power losses remain at 120 W under nominal loading.
