The 09.F5.MDD-Y0P0 is an AC axis drive from KEB that belongs to the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. This unit interfaces with 3-phase mains supplies and delivers regulated power to synchronous or induction motors used on conveyors, gantries, and positioning tables. By converting a fixed 400 V AC line into a variable voltage and frequency output, the drive lets machine controllers command speed, torque, and direction without mechanical gear changes or contactors.
The power section accepts a nominal line of 400 V and draws a rated input current of 6 A when operating at full load. Internally, the inverter stage can supply a continuous motor current of 4.1 A, corresponding to a rated apparent power of 2.8 kVA. Pulse-width modulation is generated at a factory setting of 8 kHz, while users may raise the carrier to 16 kHz for quieter motor acoustics at the expense of additional thermal stress.
