The 09.F5.K1D-YWQA is an axis drive module produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. The unit conditions a 400 V AC supply for precise motor control and houses a dedicated Safety Board that oversees motion-stop routines. Within an automated cell, the drive receives process commands from a PLC and modulates its inverter output so that servomotors follow programmed speed or torque references. The integrated safety layer supports compliance with applicable machinery safety requirements while coordinating controlled and immediate stopping functions.
The control section provides two analog input channels that are processed with 12-bit resolution, allowing precise scaling of velocity or torque setpoints. Two analog output channels report drive status with 11-bit resolution. The drive also has 8 digital inputs that accept contact or sensor signals for enable, direction, or jogging functions. All logic electronics are energized from a separate 24 V DC control supply, so the feedback network can remain active when the main power bus is down.
