The 09.F5.B1B-3900 is an axis drive module manufactured by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It serves as the power conversion and control element between the plant power bus and a three-phase servo or induction motor, supporting speed, position, and braking functions in automated machinery. An integrated GTR7 braking chopper and a factory-installed braking transistor dissipate regenerated energy so the mechanical system can decelerate safely without added external braking hardware.
The power stage accepts a nominal supply of 400 V AC/DC on a three-phase input, while logic circuits are energized separately by a 24 V DC control supply that keeps the drive responsive during power interruptions. Output waveforms are synthesized at a carrier frequency of 4 kHz, and the inverter can modulate frequency continuously up to 800 Hz, which suits high-speed spindle or servo applications. Seventeen control terminals support field wiring; five are assigned to digital inputs, one is used for an analog input, and two provide relay outputs for interlocks.
