The 09.F5.B1B-2B0A is an AC axis drive from KEB that belongs to the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. The unit functions as a dedicated inverter that supplies controlled three-phase voltage to induction or synchronous motors used in positioning, conveying, and general motion sequences on automated machinery. KEB designs the power stage and control logic for integration into multi-axis cabinets.
The drive accepts an input supply of 1- or 3-phase 230 VAC/DC and is rated for 230 V nominal line voltage. With an apparent output capability of 2.8 kVA it can deliver mechanical work corresponding to a rated motor output of 1.5 kW. Dynamic braking peaks are held to 9.5 A, and thermal integrity is maintained as long as the heat-sink temperature stays below 90 °C. The enclosure carries an IP20 protection rating for installation inside a control panel and its mounted mass of 2 kg eases handling during retrofits. These limits coordinate with the rated figures in the previous paragraph to establish safe continuous and intermittent operating zones without compromising component life.
