The 09.56.200 drive is produced by KEB and belongs to the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It is an AC inverter module that conditions single-phase input power and generates a three-phase output for positioning or speed-controlled motors used in industrial automation cells. By converting and regulating voltage and frequency, the unit permits a controller to run small servo or induction motors with closed-loop precision on assembly lines, material-handling axes, and compact processing machinery. Its inverter function also supports smooth acceleration, deceleration, and speed changes during normal machine cycles. This helps the connected axis follow commanded motion without requiring a separate motor starter.
The drive connects to a single-phase supply at 230 VAC and operates on either utility frequency of 50/60 Hz. Under nominal conditions, it draws 7.0 A and delivers a continuous apparent power of 2.8 kVA. Internally, the output stage can supply up to 1.5 kW of mechanical motor power, and the incoming circuit should be protected by a 20 A mains fuse. Phase conductors must be wired with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm² to limit conductor heating during operation. The three output terminals provide a symmetrical voltage pattern derived from the input supply, allowing the connected machine axis to receive variable-speed commands. Because the enclosure is open, exposed live sections must remain protected by the cabinet structure and by proper spacing from nearby components. Short cable runs to the motor and orderly routing of power conductors can help reduce unwanted electrical interference. Adequate clearance around the inverter also helps limit heat buildup during continuous operation.
