Product Description:
The 09.F5.A10-ZL00 is an axis drive module produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Intended for elevator service, it regulates induction or permanent-magnet traction motors so elevator cars accelerate smoothly, travel at a constant speed, and stop level with each landing. The module combines a power stage with a standard control board, allowing it to serve as the central motion component inside an automation cabinet. Its control functions support precise movement throughout acceleration, travel, deceleration, and final positioning.
An analog fast-scan interval of 250 ms determines how quickly the processor evaluates reference voltages received through the single analog input. The input and output channels operate at 11-bit resolution, providing detailed command processing and feedback reporting. The analog output can transmit operating information such as load or torque to connected control equipment. Logic I/O uses PNP switching for compatibility with the surrounding control circuit. The drive provides five digital inputs for control commands and floor-door interlocks, while two digital outputs signal operating conditions such as ready or fault states. A form-C relay contact supplies an additional channel for safety circuits, and the open-collector stage supports a cumulative load of 50 mA to protect the onboard transistors from excessive current.
Shaft-angle data can be forwarded to an external controller through the encoder emulator’s TTL output. The drive also provides two dedicated encoder inputs, although it does not contain an internal feedback card. Overall I/O data is refreshed every 1 ms, helping the control system maintain accurate car positioning during short trips between floors. The control electronics receive power from an auxiliary 24 VDC source, while the installed braking transistor manages regenerative energy produced during deceleration. A total of 17 terminals accommodates the power, signal, and field connections in an organized arrangement. The terminal layout helps separate control wiring from encoder and relay connections within the cabinet.
