By converting a constant three-phase mains supply into a regulated output waveform, it allows the automation system to impose precise torque and speed profiles on the attached machine axis. Its architecture supports feedback from different encoder formats so the drive can close the current, speed, and position loops internally.
Core regulation is performed in a field-oriented control loop, allowing decoupled management of flux and torque. The drive accepts an input supply of three-phase 400 V AC/DC, matching European factory distribution networks, and is rated to deliver 0.75 kW of mechanical output when paired with a compatible motor. Its continuous output current capability is 2.6 A, while pulse-width modulation is generated at 16 kHz to lower audible noise and improve current resolution.
