Product Description:
The 07.F5.M1D-2BEA axis drive module is produced by KEB and belongs to the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency line power into variable-frequency output for small AC motors, delivering closed-loop speed and torque regulation for conveyor sections, pick-and-place axes, and indexing tables. By combining power electronics, feedback handling, and an integrated braking stage, the unit supports consistent motion profiles during continuous industrial duty. This arrangement allows one compact module to manage motor control, signal processing, and deceleration energy handling within the same cabinet space.
Electrical ratings specify a continuous output of 0.75 kW with a steady-state current of 4 A and a peak capability of 7.2 A for short acceleration bursts. The drive accepts single-phase or three-phase mains at 230 V and modulates the DC link through IGBT devices switching at 16 kHz, which helps reduce audible motor noise and smooth current delivery. A factory-installed braking transistor channels regenerated energy into an external resistor during rapid deceleration, which helps control DC-bus rise when an axis stops quickly or lowers an overrunning load. Control wiring offers one analog input for proportional references, five digital inputs for binary commands, two transistor outputs, and one relay contact for direct interface with PLC logic or status indicators.
Deterministic response is supported by an I/O scan time of 1 ms, enabling tight update intervals in synchronized multi-axis systems. Feedback devices plug into a combined D-Sub 15 / D-Sub 9 connector, and the internal interface operates with a resolver / TTL output signal set, eliminating the need for separate conversion hardware. The aluminum housing stands 250 mm high, 181 mm deep, and 90 mm wide, permitting dense side-by-side mounting inside control cabinets. The compact enclosure leaves room for adjacent components such as contactors, line filters, and terminal blocks, while the direct feedback connection keeps encoder wiring short and orderly.
