Product Description:
The 07.F5.CBB-YM00 is a cabinet-mount axis drive produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Acting as a variable-frequency inverter, it converts fixed three-phase mains power into a regulated output so that induction or synchronous motors can accelerate, decelerate, and maintain speed precisely. Typical duties include conveyor indexing, small-pump modulation, and light positioning axes on packaging or assembly lines, where integrated speed control simplifies automation and lowers mechanical wear.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply at 400 VAC, while its rectifier tolerates line voltages from 305 to 528 V to accommodate common industrial grids. Internally filtered power is switched by IGBTs at a carrier frequency of 16 kHz, reducing motor noise and smoothing current. Rated output is 1.8 kVA, and the inverter reproduces the mains waveform at a variable amplitude ranging from 3 × 0 V to the input voltage. Frequency can be set anywhere from zero up to 599 Hz, supporting both standard 50/60 Hz machinery and high-speed spindles. A front-end analog channel accepts commands from 0 to ±10 VDC, and eight digital inputs rated for 13–30 VDC permit PLC selection of operating modes. The power section supports motors rated up to 0.75 kW, aligning the unit with fractional-horsepower automation tasks.
Dynamic energy is dissipated through the integrated chopper, which can divert up to 7.5 A into an external resistor with a minimum resistance of 120 Ω. For brief events, the inverter withstands 4.7 A of short-time phase current. An auxiliary supply provides 24 VDC at 100 mA to sensors or contactors, eliminating the need for a separate power module. The housing has an IP20 protection rating for installation inside ventilated panels, and the continuous motor current capability is 2.6 A. No encoder feedback card is fitted, so the drive operates in open-loop V/f or sensorless vector modes by default.
