Its power stage is designed for a line supply of 400 V, and the insulated-gate output transistors switch at 8 kHz, a frequency that balances low audible noise with acceptable semiconductor losses. For transient load demands, the inverter can deliver up to 180% rated current for a short duration, allowing rapid acceleration or deceleration without saturation. Protective logic trips the drive when the output current reaches 216% rated current, preventing device or motor damage under fault conditions.
