Product Description:
The 07.F5.CBB-YA00 is an AC axis drive module built by KEB and assigned to the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. As an inverter, it modulates power between the plant’s three-phase supply and a connected servo or induction motor, delivering variable speed and torque commands in automated machinery such as conveyors, winders, or positioning tables. The module installs inside a control cabinet and accepts motion setpoints from a PLC, providing the regulated frequency and voltage needed for closed-loop or open-loop motor control in industrial automation.
The drive draws power from a three-phase network at 400 VAC, and its steady-state input requirement is 3.6 A. Internally, this is converted into a nominal output of 2.6 A, yielding 1.8 kVA of continuous apparent power for the motor. This matches 0.75 kW mechanical output for small pumps or indexing axes. Frequency synthesis extends up to 599 Hz, allowing high-speed operation for motors with low pole counts. A 16 A gL/gG main fuse protects the supply path, and an overcurrent trip actuates at 5.6 A. A short-time current of 4.7 A is available for brief acceleration peaks. The model comes without an encoder feedback card, so speed must be evaluated in open loop or by an external device when higher accuracy is required.
For dynamic stopping, the integrated chopper channels up to 7.5 A of braking current into an external resistor no smaller than 120 Ω, preventing DC bus overvoltage during deceleration. Carrier modulation runs at 8 kHz, a switching frequency selected to balance acoustic noise with semiconductor losses. Thermal management is handled by the aluminum heat sink, and operation is permitted until its surface reaches 90 °C, at which point the unit derates or trips to avoid damage. This arrangement supports controlled braking and heat dissipation during operation in enclosed control cabinets.
