The 07.F5.C1B-3B00 axis drive is produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It is an inverter stage that regulates torque and speed for small induction or synchronous motors used in conveyors, mixers, and positioning modules. By modulating three-phase output voltage and frequency, the unit links upper-level PLCs to the motor circuit and supports centralized or standalone automation. This allows the connected motor to respond smoothly to changing speed commands during startup, running, and stopping sequences.
This model accepts a 3-phase 400 V AC/DC mains supply and converts it to controlled output power. Under continuous duty, the inverter delivers 0.75 kW at a rated current of 2.6 A, while momentary peaks may rise to 5.6 A. Frequency is synthesized up to 800 Hz, allowing high-speed spindles or compact gearless drives to operate beyond the standard 50/60 Hz range. Eight digital inputs and two analog inputs can be used for motor start, speed reference, or fault reset signals, and two analog outputs return process values such as torque demand. A 2 ms scan time keeps internal logic responsive to motion commands, and the unit uses standard cooling for fan-ventilated cabinet mounting.
Transient performance and protective functions are handled through the overload settings. The short-time current limit reaches 180% of nominal for rapid acceleration, and an OC trip threshold of 216% shuts the stage down before device damage occurs. Power is switched by IGBTs operating at 16 kHz, which reduces audible noise and improves current resolution. Dynamic braking is handled by the integrated GTR7 transistor, which routes excess DC-link energy to an external resistor during deceleration. No encoder feedback card is installed, so the drive operates with open-loop V/Hz or sensorless vector control.
