Product Description:
The 07.F5.C1B-2B0A is an axis drive unit produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. This inverter-based controller is installed in packaging lines, material-handling cells, and machine tools to regulate the speed and torque of connected AC motors. Acting as the link between a PLC and the motor, the drive executes motion commands, supervises electrical limits, and provides the closed-loop control essential for reliable industrial automation.
It operates from a 230 V AC single-phase or three-phase supply and delivers a continuous output of 0.75 kW, which corresponds to a rated output current of 4 A. During acceleration or sudden load changes, the current can rise to 8.6 A, giving headroom for transient torque demands. Internal processing updates every 2 ms, so the eight digital inputs, two analog inputs, and other field signals are evaluated with minimal latency. Two analog outputs, two transistor outputs, and two relay contacts rated at 30 V DC / 1 A return status signals or drive external actuators, while the total transistor output current is limited to 50 mA to protect onboard semiconductors.
Pulse width modulation can be set as high as 16 kHz, reducing audible motor noise in noise-sensitive environments. Each analog input is digitized with 12-bit resolution, supporting precise speed references and stable feedback loops. A built-in braking transistor safely channels regenerated energy into an external resistor during rapid deceleration. Electromagnetic emissions meet the C1 category, simplifying compliance when the cabinet houses sensitive electronics. The enclosure measures 90 × 220 × 160 mm, allowing side-by-side mounting with other drives while conserving panel space. Two relay outputs and the low-current transistor channels can activate contactors, lamps, or field devices as part of the machine’s interlock architecture.
