The 07.F5.B3B-Z003 is an AC inverter drive manufactured by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Designed for cabinet mounting inside automated machines, it converts a fixed three-phase supply into variable-voltage, variable-frequency output power. This functionality allows production controllers to match induction motor speed to process demand without mechanical throttling, improving efficiency and motion accuracy on conveyors, pumps, and material-handling axes.
The drive connects to industrial mains at a line frequency of 50/60 ± 2 Hz, and its power module supports motors up to 0.75 kW. The output stage can generate synthesized sine waves from 0 to 400 Hz, while its three-phase 0-to-Uin output maintains motor magnetic flux across the operating range. For applications that require rapid deceleration, an integrated braking transistor eliminates the need for an external chopper and permits direct connection to a resistor bank. An integrated EMI filter attenuates conducted electrical noise on the supply and motor leads. The enclosure meets the IP20 protection category, making live parts finger-safe while still requiring installation inside a closed electrical cabinet. The control layer is classified as BASIC, and torque support begins at the minimum full-load frequency of 6 Hz.
Continuous operation is permitted from -10 to 45 °C, with derating managed by the internal thermal model outside this temperature range. Relative humidity from 5% to 85% is acceptable when conditions remain noncondensing, and conformal-coated circuit boards resist thin moisture films that may develop during cleaning cycles. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 2,000 m above sea level while maintaining suitable semiconductor temperatures and electrical clearances. The cabinet must provide sufficient ventilation around the IP20 housing so internally generated heat can dissipate effectively. Proper spacing around the drive also supports dependable airflow when multiple power-control devices are installed in the same enclosure.
