Product Description:
The 07.F5.B1B-LB0A is an axis drive module produced by KEB within the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It operates as a configurable power stage that supplies controlled three-phase output to induction or synchronous motors in factory automation lines. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, the unit allows speed regulation, torque control, and coordinated motion in conveyors, packaging equipment, and positioning tables that require compact electronic drives.
The control type is BASIC, meaning the drive relies on standard parameter sets without optional fieldbus expansions, which simplifies setup for standalone machines. Its inverter section can generate up to 1600 Hz of output frequency, allowing high-speed spindles or servo-rated motors to run above nominal synchronous speed. The drive is rated at 0.75 kW with an output current of 2.6 A, so motor selection must stay within that load range. Switching devices operate at 16 kHz, a carrier rate that reduces audible motor noise while increasing the heat that the sink must dissipate. No encoder interface is provided, so feedback tasks rely on sensorless algorithms.
The integrated braking transistor supports dynamic stops by diverting surplus DC bus energy to an external resistor; its peak discharge current reaches 7.5 A, and the resistor value must not be lower than 120 Ω. Thermal safeguards permit continuous service until the heat sink reaches 90 °C, provided ambient conditions remain within the limits of the open-frame IP20 enclosure. Rated apparent power is 1.8 kVA, and the unit begins full-load regulation at 6 Hz, so low-speed motor ventilation is advisable. Installation is limited to altitudes up to 2000 m, and the motor lead should not exceed 5 m when 1.5 mm² shielded conductors are used. The 2 kg assembly is intended for vertical mounting so airflow can pass across the fins.
