Product Description:
The 07.F5.B1A.Z000 is an AC axis drive produced by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It regulates the speed and torque of fractional-horsepower three-phase motors used in conveyors, small pumps, and positioning tables on automated lines. By converting fixed mains power into an output with variable frequency and amplitude, the drive provides motion control for machinery. It can execute open-loop flux vector control when advanced feedback is not required and translate PLC commands into mechanical movement.
The drive delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.75 kW and accepts a single-phase or three-phase supply at 230 V. At this voltage, the inverter can supply up to 4 A RMS to the motor terminals. The drive produces an output frequency of up to 800 Hz, while the power stage switches at 2 kHz. This operating range supports high-speed motors while controlling heat generated by switching losses. Five digital inputs with PNP logic support BASIC open-loop flux vector control. One analog input and one analog output provide speed-reference and monitoring signals, while two relay outputs can transmit fault or ready states to higher-level controllers. A braking transistor is fitted as standard, allowing direct connection of an external resistor for rapid deceleration.
Cycle coordination with neighboring axes is aided by a scan interval of 2 ms, so command changes reach the drive with minimal delay. Protection functions include an instantaneous shutdown at 150% of rated current and a short-term boost capability of 125% for acceleration peaks. The control electronics are powered by an internal 24 V DC supply that isolates the signal board from the mains section. The housing uses the compact A form factor, reducing the space required for installation in a control cabinet. The drive does not include an encoder card, so it operates in an open-loop configuration unless a compatible external feedback module is added.
