Product Description:
The 07.F5.B3B-YW0A axis drive is manufactured by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Acting as a power interface between the mains supply and a three-phase motor, it converts fixed-frequency input into variable amplitude and frequency output so that industrial machines can accelerate, decelerate, or hold speed precisely. By embedding current regulators and programmable function blocks, the module supports coordinated multi-axis motion in packaging lines, material-handling gantries, and general automation cells while remaining compatible with cabinet-mounted installations.
One differential analog channel samples velocity commands at 11-bit resolution and accepts a ±10 V signal span, providing fine control over motor speed. The drive refreshes its field I/O every 2 ms, synchronizing with fast PLC tasks. Power is derived from a 400 V AC supply, and the inverter can generate output frequencies up to 800 Hz for high-pole or spindle motors. For discrete control, the unit offers 5 opto-isolated inputs that follow PNP logic, and a single analog output delivers process feedback to external instrumentation. Each reference update is processed through the sole analog input, and two relay contacts supply form-C status signals to interlock circuitry.
The integrated braking stage is the GTR7, routing regenerated energy into an internal resistor during rapid stopping events. An IP20 open-frame housing allows safe placement inside control panels while preventing accidental contact with live components. Factory-installed accessories, namely a braking transistor and EMI filter, reduce the external component count, leaving only field wiring for the analog output and the two relay contacts. These accessories help reduce conducted emissions and simplify panel integration without requiring separate external components for braking and filtering.
