By converting fixed mains power into a variable-frequency, variable-voltage output, the drive coordinates motor behavior with programmable logic controllers and field I/O, supporting repeatable positioning, tensioning, and conveyor duties common to packaging, material handling, and general factory lines.
For electrical interfacing, the drive accepts a line supply of 230 V, delivers a continuous output of 4 A, and supports motors up to 0.75 kW at a carrier frequency of 8 kHz. One analog input and one analog output provide scalable references or feedback, while five digital inputs and two relay outputs allow on/off sequencing, fault signaling, and contactor control. Internal processing updates field variables every 2 ms, aligning the inverter with fast PLC cycles.
