The 04.F5.S3A-ZM00 is a frequency inverter designed by KEB Automation to function according to the principle of pulse width modulation. This inverter is exclusively intended for stepless three-phase AC servo motors; when connected, it accurately controls the speed, position and torque output of the motor in both static and dynamic operation. The inverter also carries out important monitoring operations to protect the connected motor from overload or over-temperature damage. The 04.F5.S3A-ZM00 is CE compliant and cULus listed; it has been tested and approved to meet these international standards before it is released. In the industrial system, this product guarantees low motor noise with high carrier frequency; it is short circuit proof and ground-fault proof.

The 04.F5.S3A-ZM00 frequency inverter features a UVW and TTL input feedback card installed at the factory. This frequency inverter is sensitive to contamination and should be installed in a control cabinet that can prevent dust from getting into its housing; during installation clearance, it should be left around the inverter for efficient heat dissipation. The maximum surrounding air temperature around this product at any time during operation is 45 degrees Celsius; however, the temperature can fall between the range of -10 to about 45 degrees Celsius. Operation of the inverter outside this temperature range can lead to the automatic shutdown of the product.

The 04.F5.S3A-ZM00 frequency inverter should not be operated at a relative humidity higher than 95 per cent. Also, condensation around the product should be avoided. This inverter is UL-approved as a solid-state motor overload protection device. This function is meant for non-ventilated motors and meets the requirements set in VDE 0660 part 104. The product belongs to the 3K3 climatic category according to EN 50178.
