Product Description:
The 00.F5.0C1-H010 encoder cable is produced by KEB for use with the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It serves as the Hiperface feedback link between a servo motor’s position sensor and the axis inverter, transporting both incremental and absolute data required for vector control. By integrating with Combivert F5 drives, the cable supports coordinated multi-axis motion, improves speed regulation, and simplifies installation in industrial automation cells that rely on tight positional accuracy. The combined feedback and supply conductors in a single jacket help reduce cabinet wiring density without requiring separate signal and power cable runs.
Signal integrity is maintained up to 200 kHz, enabling the sinusoidal process-data channel to carry the specified 1 Vss differential waveform without distortion. Two 0.5 mm² supply cores deliver a minimum of 7.5 V to the encoder, while incremental and absolute information travels through three twisted pairs of 0.14 mm². This pair construction limits crosstalk and, together with double shielding around each pair and the overall bundle, helps reject external electromagnetic interference. Conductor resistance is only 0.036 Ω/m, so voltage drop stays within tolerance, and installations can reach 50 m before attenuation becomes critical. An RS-485 half-duplex parameter channel is routed on the same cores, permitting device addressing and parameter communication without adding extra cabling.
At the inverter side, the cable terminates in a D-Sub 15-Pin connector that matches the Combivert encoder interface. The drive imposes an input resistance of 120 Ω, which preserves the line impedance needed for balanced signaling. A wear-resistant PUR sheath colored Green (RAL 6018) protects the conductors against oils and abrasion, and continuous operation is permitted up to a maximum ambient temperature of 80 °C. Layered copper and foil screening, the 3×(2×0.14 mm²) signal set, and the 2×0.5 mm² power conductors provide the physical layout needed for precise feedback in demanding motion systems.
