By matching the pinout conventions of the Combivert F5 platform, the cable provides compatible feedback without requiring field modification.
The cable is classified as a resolver cable, meaning its individual pairs carry the analog sine and cosine signals produced by the rotating transformer inside the motor. At the motor end, the encoder plug is a 12-pole molded connector that mates directly with standard resolver sockets while maintaining a sealed connection. The drive-side termination is a 15-pole D-Sub plug, so the cable can be inserted into the feedback port of an F5 inverter without adapters.
