Product Description:
The 00.F5.060-5010 axis drive is manufactured by KEB as part of the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. This inverter converts the DC link voltage of a common bus into a controlled three-phase output that regulates motor speed and torque in automated packaging, conveying, and forming equipment. It connects directly to a CANopen network so higher-level motion controllers can issue position or velocity commands, and it provides a front-mounted keypad and display for on-site parameter entry.
For bus end-of-line matching, the controller relies on an external 124 Ohm termination resistor, preventing signal reflections that distort telegrams. Cable entry uses a 9-pin D-Sub connector, keeping the pinout compatible with standard CAN cabling. Communication is carried on the ISO 11898 high-speed physical layer, allowing deterministic traffic up to 1 Mbit/s. Application data exchange follows the DS301 CANopen profile, so object dictionary addresses stay consistent with common PLC libraries. Motion control objects defined in CiA DSP402 are supported, letting the drive interpret profile position, velocity, and torque commands. A dedicated maintenance port labeled HSP5 provides real-time scope traces and fault logs without interrupting field operations.
An emergency frame with a code of 128 + Node_Id is transmitted whenever the drive detects a critical fault, allowing the CAN master to remove motion immediately. Continuous supervision is available through the Node and Life guarding modes, which track device availability and application heartbeat timing. Power outputs use safe disconnection, which eliminates residual voltage on the motor leads when the enable signal is inactive. Because an encoder feedback card is not installed, any closed-loop operation must rely on external encoder modules or on the sensorless control routines built into the drive.
