The 00.F5.060-3000 is a state-of-the-art PROFIBUS-DP operator panel designed by KEB Automation for the F5 frequency converter. It is a compact device that allows industrial engineers to easily send command instructions into the frequency converter and receive a real-time decipherable response. This operator panel belongs to the IP20 protection category and has to be plugged into the drive for it to function correctly. The operator features a 5-digit LED display on its front panel; it is also equipped with a strong housing and double-function keyboard through which command instructions are transmitted into the drive. There are two PROFIBUS Interfaces on this product. One has a socket connector while the second has a pin connector. The direct connection from the PC to this operator panel can be established through the Profibus Connectors with a special cable. The use of the correct cable is very important, as incorrect cabling can lead to the destruction of the PC interface.
The 00.F5.060-3000 is necessary for the operation of the drive; unplugging the operator while the drive is in operation will result in immediate shutdown of the drive and will cause a fault output to activate.
