Product Description:
The 00.F5.060-1000 is an operator interface module supplied by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It combines a segmented display with a small keypad so users can read drive status and enter parameters directly at the front of a drive cabinet. Within an automation cell, this accessory removes the need for a separate handheld terminal and provides immediate status feedback for axis drives during startup, normal production, and diagnostics.
Five characters are shown because the display is limited to 5 digits, allowing numeric parameter codes, error numbers, and setpoints to be read without scrolling. The characters are formed by an LED segment matrix, which provides high contrast and long service life compared with LCD elements. Drive interaction takes place through a plastic keypad that uses a double-function key layout, meaning each button can issue two commands depending on press duration. The module serves as a display and keyboard package, so no additional controls are required for routine adjustments. Mechanical attachment is simple because the module is a pluggable unit component that seats directly in the mating slot on the drive’s front panel.
In continuous production, the green status lamp remains on to indicate proper communication with the drive, while a fault causes the red indicator to enter a blinking mode for fast recognition. Text on the display toggles between process data and the combined operating and error message list, giving operators a concise view of current conditions without navigating deep menus. The module is intended for the Combivert F5 family, confirming electrical compatibility across that platform. No encoder feedback card is integrated, so position or speed feedback is handled through separate drive connectors and the interface board remains dedicated to visualization and entry functions.
