Product Description:

The 00.F5.060-7000 is an axis drive module manufactured by KEB and included in the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It provides closed-loop control of servo or induction motors in assembly lines, packaging equipment, and other automated stations, translating motion commands from a real-time fieldbus into synchronized voltage and frequency output for the connected inverter stage. The drive also offers onboard low-voltage logic power, diagnostics, and parameter storage for local setup and routine operation.

Communication is handled through the integrated DeviceNet interface. At power-up, the drive transmits at the default network speed of 125 kbit/s and occupies MAC ID 1 unless reassigned by the PLC. It operates as a slave node, so all cyclic and acyclic traffic is initiated by a master scanner. Field wiring lands on a 5-pole terminal strip, and a built-in bus termination of 121 Ohm can be activated for the last device on the segment. The electrical layer follows CAN V2.0A, and the predefined connection set offers four process data words in each direction, so Max PDIN Params and Max PDOUT Params are 4. Because no encoder feedback card is installed at the factory, position information must come from an external source if it is required. The object dictionary lists the unit as a Generic Device and indicates that UCMM support is not available.

The logic supply port draws only 50 mA from a 24 V DC rail, minimizing load on the control power supply. Parameter addresses are organized in a 16-bit space, which aligns with the HSP5 service interface used for local setup and parameter access. For identification on the network, the unit carries vendor number 744, and the absence of UCMM does not affect the four cyclic process data channels provided by the connection set. The object list retains Combivert F5 series references so the addressing and data structures remain consistent within the network profile.
