The 00.F5.060-400A is a DrivePos InterBus communication module produced by KEB for integration with the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. Installed on the inverter, the option card enables the axis drive to exchange cyclic and diagnostic data with an InterBus network, allowing coordinated position and speed control within automated material handling, packaging, and process lines. By acting as the dedicated fieldbus interface, the module eliminates parallel wiring and streamlines controller connectivity. This arrangement reduces extra control wiring in distributed drive systems.

Its bus interface follows the InterBus 2-Wire Remote Bus standard and uses the RS485 physical layer, allowing the drive to connect directly to shielded twisted-pair cabling. Electrical separation between the drive electronics and the fieldbus is rated at 500 VDC, which helps limit common-mode noise and protect sensitive control circuits. Network wiring terminates on a D-Sub 9-Pin Male connector for input and a D-Sub 9-Pin Female connector for output, so the card forms a daisy-chain segment without external T-pieces. Communication uses reference number 2 and transmits one process word, while the module manages one client service and one server service at a time for single-axis applications.
