It regulates the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors in automated machinery, letting a single unit replace mechanical gear or damper arrangements. This type of control helps motors match process demand more closely, which supports smoother starts, more stable speed changes, and reduced reliance on mechanical throttling. KEB includes an integrated braking transistor, so regenerative energy is dissipated internally and panel wiring is simplified in conveyor lines, pumps, and packaging systems that cycle between acceleration and deceleration.
This inverter connects to 400 V mains, matching common plant supplies. The input side draws a nominal current of 36.5 A, and the power stage converts that to an output current of 33 A for the motor. That current capacity supports steady motor operation under continuous industrial loads instead of brief intermittent duty alone.
