KEB’s 16.F4.C1G-4A02 belongs to the F4 Combivert Frequency Inverters series and is engineered to modulate the speed and torque of three-phase AC motors in automated machinery. The inverter converts fixed line frequency into a variable output through a DC-link topology, allowing precise motor control for conveyors, pumps, or positioning axes on factory floors. This operating method gives the motor adjustable speed while maintaining stable torque response during changing process demand. Eleven parameter groups organize the functional settings, and a hardware current limit helps protect the power section during faults or stalls.
The control section provides 2 analog inputs that accept process signals such as speed references and torque limits, and 1 analog output can retransmit feedback values to external indicators or PLC analog cards. The unit has 4 digital inputs for start, stop, and preset selection, and it can issue discrete status through 2 relay outputs. An internal PI controller maintains closed-loop regulation when process feedback is wired to an analog input, eliminating the need for an external PID module.
