16.F4.C0G-3420 is a frequency inverter. It is designed by KEB Automation. The inverter is deployed for industrial motor control. Features supported by F4 series inverters include electrical motor protection, DC braking, jogging function, PI controller, speed search, DRIVECOM compatibility, energy saving function and adjustable ramp balancing. Integrated I/O on the inverter include 1 analog output, 1 digital output, 2 analog inputs, 4 digital inputs, and 2 relay outputs. An input rectifier converts AC input to DC, and a controlled inverter transforms this DC to controlled AC output. A capacitor is used to smoothen the voltage on the DC link. This capacitor must be given sufficient time to discharge after power to the unit is switched off. The inverter uses pulse-width modulation or PWM for controlling the DC to AC conversion.
