The 14.F0.R31-3429 control cabinet is produced by KEB as a member of the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It functions as an AC inverter stage that draws three-phase mains power, modulates voltage and frequency, and then feeds variable-speed induction or synchronous motors. Within automated conveyor lines, pumps, or process equipment, the unit forms the drive interface between the utility supply and the motion task, allowing closed-loop torque and speed adjustment from a compact rack assembly.
During operation the enclosure releases 215 W of heat, a figure that guides panel ventilation sizing so internal components remain within their thermal limits. It is designed for an input class of 400 V and uses 3 line phases at 50 or 60 Hz, which matches standard industrial power distribution. At the terminals the drive delivers a continuous 16.5 A of output current and supports connected motors up to 7.5 kW of shaft power. Pulse-width modulation is carried out at up to 4 kHz, so harmonic content stays low while motor acoustic noise is reduced. Wire cross-sections of 4.0 mm² can be clamped directly, and the recommended upstream fuse rating is 25 A to coordinate with the converter’s short-circuit withstand capability.
The speed envelope is extended by a maximum output frequency of 408 Hz, enabling high-pole or high-speed machines to run above base frequency when the application allows it. An IP20 protection class guards against contact with live parts and makes the unit suitable for installation inside an enclosed electrical cabinet. Operation is permitted at mounting altitudes up to 3000 m and in environments with up to 95 % relative humidity, provided condensation is avoided. The unit also has an apparent power rating of 11 kVA and a rack mass of 5.0 kg.
