The 13.F0.R13-3429 control cabinet is produced by KEB and belongs to the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It integrates a variable-frequency inverter, control electronics, and protective components into one enclosure intended for mounting inside a machine panel. The unit converts fixed mains power into an adjustable output so that connected AC motors can be started, stopped, and speed-regulated in line with process commands issued by a PLC. This integrated layout reduces the number of separate drive components that must be wired inside the panel and keeps motor control functions in one enclosure.
Electrical characteristics determine how the cabinet interfaces with upstream power. It is designed for three-phase supplies and is rated for a 400 V voltage class, delivering a continuous motor phase current of 12 A. That current corresponds to a drive output capability of 8.3 kVA, which is suitable for medium-frame pumping, conveying, or positioning axes. On the modulation side, the inverter can raise carrier frequency to 4 kHz, while commanded frequency at the terminals can reach 408 Hz; these values support high-speed motor operation with reduced acoustic noise. Protection on the input is coordinated through a 0.4 A control fuse and an upstream mains fuse not exceeding 20 A, helping keep semiconductor junction temperature within acceptable limits.
Output power is limited by the motor interface. The cabinet supports up to 5.5 kW of shaft power, and continuous semiconductor losses amount to 165 W, which must be removed by the enclosure airflow. Proper ventilation inside the host panel is necessary so heat from the drive does not build up around adjacent components. The unit tolerates ambient humidity up to 95% without condensation and may be mounted as high as 3000 m above sea level. Its ingress protection of IP20 assumes installation inside a larger panel, and wiring must use conductors of at least 2.5 mm² to maintain thermal capacity. At 4.5 kg, the cabinet remains easy to position during panel installation.
