12.F0.R11-4012 is a KEB Combivert F0 series frequency inverter. It is designed for demanding industrial applications. Operators can use it with 2-pole or 4-pole motors. 2-pole motors provide high-speed operation and are generally used where speed is more critical than torque. 4-pole motors provide more torque at a slower speed and are typically used in applications where greater power and control are needed at lower speeds. The maximum permissible nominal motor power is 4 kilowatts. The 12.F0.R11-4012 inverter is designed for use on 3-phase AC mains. Its input voltage range is 380 to 480 Volts AC. The rated output power is 6.6 kVA and the rated output current is 9.5 Amps. For reliable operation, KEB recommends using copper wire with 2.5 mm2 cross-sectional area. High-quality cables with this size can be used for maximum 100 meters.

The optimal ambient conditions for inverter operation include -10 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and maximum 95% relative humidity without condensation. Water ingress into the inverter can cause irreparable damage. The unit must also be protected from dust ingress. Adequate heat dissipation must be provided when the inverter is installed in dust-proof enclosures. Explosion proof housings must be used when the inverter is installed in explosion protection environments. At least 100 millimeter spacing must be provided on the sides of the unit and 50 millimeters on the top, bottom and front side for proper air circulation. Installation of adjacent units is permitted. Heat dissipation of the unit at nominal load is 115 Watts at 4 kilohertz switching frequency. The maximum site elevation without derating is 1000 meters above mean sea level. Installation and use of unit is not permitted at elevations higher than 3000 meters.
