Product Description:
The 12.F0.R11-3429 is an enclosed variable-frequency inverter from KEB and belongs to the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. As a pre-wired cabinet controller, it regulates three-phase induction motors in automated machinery and provides speed and torque adjustment through pulse-width-modulated output. By combining the drive, fusing, and low-voltage logic in one enclosure, the unit shortens installation time and keeps related control components in a single cabinet for production lines and conveyor systems.
Electrical input is taken from a three-phase supply at 400 V, and the internal power electronics can deliver a continuous phase current of 9.5 A, which corresponds to a sustained output capacity of 6.6 kVA. When paired with standard IEC motors, the cabinet supports mechanical loads up to 4 kW, while its inverter stage can modulate output frequency up to 408 Hz. Protective hardware downstream of the mains should not exceed the specified 20 A gL/gG fuse, and the factory-installed F2 link is a 0.4 A time-lag device that protects the control electronics. The housing conforms to the IP20 rating, so it must be mounted inside a dust-protected control cabinet. Three programmable digital inputs, a 30 V open-collector output, and reference taps of +10 V and +15 V allow direct connection to PLC I/O cards and basic external control circuits.
Operation is permitted where relative humidity stays below 95 % without condensation, and installation heights may reach 3000 m before derating becomes necessary. Field wiring to the drive terminals must use conductors no smaller than 2.5 mm² to carry the rated current and support proper heat dissipation. The cabinet also offers a +15 V/30 mA reference for encoder supply as well as a +10 V/6 mA potentiometer feed, allowing local speed trimming when PLC control is unavailable. These interface options support both centralized control and simple local adjustment in enclosed industrial installations.
