Product Description:
The 11.F0.R11 is an enclosed drive cabinet produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It houses the power electronics and protective hardware needed to convert a three-phase supply into a variable output for motors up to 3 kW, allowing speed and torque adjustment in conveyors, mixers, and compact machining stations. By integrating fusing, filtering, and DC link supervision, the unit reduces external wiring and simplifies installation inside automated cells.
The cabinet connects to a rated mains line of 400 V and delivers a continuous phase current of 7.5 A, corresponding to a nominal apparent power of 5.2 kVA. Its inverter section can modulate the motor terminals from 0 Hz up to 408 Hz, so high-speed spindles or over-synchronous pump drives remain within the same package. A DC-bus overvoltage threshold is fixed at 800 V; when this limit is reached, the drive trips to protect the IGBTs and capacitor bank. Additional circuit protection is provided by a 20 A intermediate link fuse and a 20 A mains fuse, while branch conductors should use a 2.5 mm² cross-section to satisfy thermal and voltage-drop criteria. The unit supports an intermediate circuit that allows braking or regenerative energy to be managed without external crowbars, keeping the stated 3 kW motor rating available across the full speed range.
The operating temperature ranges from -10 °C to 45 °C, and an internal sensor initiates a shutdown at 70 °C to prevent insulation damage. Operation is permitted in atmospheres with up to 95 % non-condensing relative humidity and at elevations reaching 3000 m without derating. The housing carries an IP20 protection class, so it must be mounted inside a clean electrical cabinet, where it provides protection against accidental contact with live parts. The cabinet weighs 4 kg, which limits the load placed on its mounting structure in space-constrained panels.
