The 10.F0.R01-0000 control cabinet is manufactured by KEB and belongs to the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. Designed for use in industrial automation cells, this unit houses power electronics that convert fixed three-phase mains into a variable frequency output for induction or synchronous motors. By providing closed, panel-mounted speed control, it removes the need for mechanical gear changes and permits programmable acceleration, deceleration, and torque regulation within conveyors, pumps, or processing equipment.
The power stage accepts a three-phase supply protected by a max mains fuse of 10 A and an intermediate bus fuse rated at 16 A. Downstream of the conversion circuitry the cabinet delivers a continuous output of 5.8 A, equating to 4.0 kVA apparent power under nominal conditions. Its modulation range extends up to 408 Hz, supporting motors up to 2.2 kW without derating. A 0.4 A control fuse safeguards auxiliary electronics, while an internal rail supplies +15 V for logic and sensor circuits. All field wiring must use conductors of at least 1.5 mm² cross-section to carry the stated currents safely, and the cabinet is specified for three input phases to ensure balanced loading.
During operation the enclosure sheds 75 W of thermal energy and therefore requires unobstructed airflow; 50 mm side clearance and 100 mm at the top and bottom are mandatory. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it must be installed inside a closed panel when airborne contaminants are present. Environmental limits allow full output up to 3000 m installation altitude and within ambient humidity not exceeding 95% non-condensing. These ratings make the cabinet suitable for most indoor production floors while defining the layout, ventilation, and protection measures the machine builder must observe.
